1. Q-Why are you guys so handsome?
A-Ha ha. We simply have good genetics. Especially Jeffers.
One of his sisters wanted to marry Dan, but Dan said no because
he is just too handsome.

2. Q-Who is this Chris Kettlewell?
A-He was a founding member of the original band. He grew his hair long
all over his body, and he now lives in the arctic.

3.Q-What about Mike?
A-Mike is trying to make us famous. We think he thinks we have what it takes
to make it, not to mention if we do we are money in the bank. Mike went
on tour with Serial Joe, and he dated Gene Simmons from Kiss.
At least that is what we heard.

4. Q-Seriously, why are you guys so handsome?
A- Ha! Enough already. God works in mysterious ways.

5. Q-What do you guys stand for?
A- We do not have a damn clue, although we do like to rock and make happy
(does that count for anything).

6. Q-Where can we get a copy of your music?

7.Q-Why choose a name like "The Phonies"?
A-We are not happy with many "modern rock bands", the life style images
projected, the contrived names of their groups and their artifical attitudes.
These groups are not what we consider "real". We are very cynical, and
we felt the name "The Phonies" was damned clever. (Notice we did not comment
on their music)

8. Q-How do I spell "The Phonies"?
A-Hmmm... T-H-E P-O-O-P-I-E-S.

9. Q-Will you guys be playing in my neighborhood anytime soon?
A-Keep visiting the News page for info. We will update anytime we have new
information, and pictures.
10. Q: Were any animals hurt during the making of this site?
A: NO, but some feelings were.
