Yikes !
It's been way too long since we've given and update.
Well, that's because there isn't too much happening. Empty Bar Tour 2K1 is proving to be a difficult thing to pull off. We haven't given up, and we plan on hitting London in November.
Unfortunately, we were a bit late in deciding to travel, so a lot of clubs were booked until January. So, let's make it official: Empty Bar Tour will extend into the new year. Considering that so far it's been an "anti-tour", we need the extra time to redeem ourselves. We'll do our best to hit the towns that we had originally planned to visit, and we'll try and find a few more Empty Bars to rock out as the year progresses.

an important news flash!.........The Phonies Have a show
We've got a show in London. Everywhere that I've called so far is booked up until
January, but I got us a show at "The Zone Teen Centre" (boys and girls club) on Dec. 21. She said they
usually get about 150 kids out, mostly teens. The centre is open to people under 21, but she said as long as there
is no problems with drinking and stuff, then it doesn't really matter who comes.

First of all, we'd like to send a big shout out to Steph in London for doing such a great job helping us out in that wonderful town. Steph, even if we have to play in your basement, we'll be in London.
DEMO-LAND
We've sent our demo package out to various major and indie labels, so now we just need to keep our fingers crossed. The powers that be at FACTOR didn't think we were worthy of any government money this time around, but we've already got our next submission ready for the mail. We've been told (by bands that have got the grant) that it always takes a few tries before you secure the money, so we aren't giving up.
LAYING DOWN THE TRACKS
Regardless, plans are already set to return to the studio to record more stuff. Right now, we will be doing "Madeleine" and a new song that no one has heard (but it's killer, trust us). We will also be laying some drum tracks for a few more ditties that we'll record later on. So, look forward to some new music at the end of December.
